  1. anyone recommend a capture card for a pc with 1HDMI? I want to use dual monitors but can't because of the elgato hd60 s setup. Not enough hdmi ports on my pc only has 1 and 3 DPs

  2. If you use OBS to record your PC, then using an Elgato capture card is pointless correct? I use the HD60 S with my PS5 and OBS, but when I record my PC alone, I only use OBS.

  4. Thanks for this video.

I am a bit confused as I dont have 2 x HDMI ports on my PC's graphics card.

Its just got one HDMI port which is connected to the HDMI port of the monitor.

The graphics card on my PC has HDMI, DV and DP ports.

Shall I connect the monitor to PC via a DP to HDMI cable ?

and then free up the HDMI port on my pc for the HD 60 s+?

Does connecting to DP for the monitor affect the display quality at all?

When the HD60s+ is connected, can I use my pc normally ie for Word, Youtube, browsing etc. Or do i have to disconnect it each time?

    Thank you

  5. Took me a while to understand the steps, but I managed to get it right for my Intel NUC 11 Enthusiast. I'll make it easy for you guys.

0:43 Desktop/Laptop HDMI port to Elgato HDMI IN
0:54 Elgato HDMI OUT to your own external monitor or TV
1:05 is pretty straightforward to understand.

  6. I have a elgato hd60 s+, I've tried to record a game on my gaming laptop (Acer Nitro 5, 1x HDMI, 1x USB C, 3x USB 3.0) but it wasn't working. Now I see I need a external Monitor and a PC too. Is it anyway possible to make it ONLY with the Elgato and the laptop?

  7. Is there a way to play the game I'm recording at with more than 60fps? I'm used to 150+ since I play on PC with a 240Hz monitor but as I understand this locks it to 60. Was wondering if there is a workaround or is this device just not fit for more than 60
