What a misleading trailer, so much of this is from the first few episodes which are ultimately pointless, and Misty doesn't come back until the last few minutes of the finale.

This is an accumulation of all the previous AHS seasons. It all came back to where it all begun, Murder House.
Being completely honest, the season was aweful. And I think that’s because I think Ryan Murphy got to caught you with trying to mix all the seasons together, but since they all play different characters each season, it got messy and made no sense. I wish he would’ve thought it out fully before hand.
